Technical Tutorial

This is the GIF that i made made using photoshop. The computer and monitor were made in illustrator by using simple shapes. After making the computer and monitor i put the file into photoshop to add the animations for the gif.

Step 1: First make any image that you want to make in adobe photoshop. Make sure each individual part is it own layer so that you can animate them all. The image that i made was a computer so that i could make it turn on. After you have made the image save it and then open the image in adobe photoshop.

Step 2: After opening your image in photoshop you need to click on the bottom of the page where it says create video timeline. This will bring up a new menu that shows all your layers that you can animate.

Step 3: Under each of your layers there should be three options one for position, one for opacity, and one for style. Position lets you change the position of the object while you are animating it. Opacity lets you change the visibility of that layer. Finally style lets you change the color of your object or some of the other parts of an animation.

Step 4: So just change the position, opacity, and style for each layer to your liking to make your gif look how you want. To change the style you have to double click on the layer that you want to change and then go to color overlay or any of the other options and change that and then move animation slider over and change it again to make the animation work.
