Graphic Design- Professional Article review

Professional Article Review

Creative Anarchy At Its Best

The article talks about how in design going outside of the rules can be a very good thing. You need to embrace your creativeness and if it causes you to break some of the rules of graphic design than that is ok. The author's argument is that you should embrace your own creativeness and go out side of the box even if it means breaking some of the rules. The strength of the article is his discussion about how our creativeness can go beyond rules that are set so that we can make great designs. The weaknesses are that he doesn't tell us how to increase our creativeness or what rules are broken. The conclusions are when he talks about even when you have worked in the career for a long time you can still learn new things and become better at what you do. The main point in the article is very coherent through the whole passage and is always seen throughout the article. The author's argument supports the main point because it always talks about how you should embrace your creativeness. The evidence to support the claim all convince you to go along with the main point. The applications as a graphic designer are that it talks about how you should keep being creative and try to make all your work as best as you can and don't let rules stop you. I thought that the article was very helpful and gives you advice on what you should do as a graphic designer and how you can improve your work.
